Sam, originally from Auckland, New Zealand, first tried landscaping during a summer in high school. After several years as a carpenter, he recently moved to Vancouver, where he saw an opportunity at Swick’s and felt that his carpentry skills would be a perfect fit for the landscaping role. What he finds most fulfilling is seeing a project progress from a blank canvas to a completed work.

In his free time, Sam enjoys bike riding, going to the gym, and playing volleyball or other sports, as well as watching games.

He believes Swick’s stands apart in the industry for its ability to take on large-scale jobs and handle more detailed work, thanks to both the skilled team members and the quality machinery. It’s rare, he feels, to find another company capable of serving such a big clientele with the same level of detail and care
