Awakening Private Residence

Watch Video

Designed by TKL Inc. and constructed by Swick’s Landscaping, Awakening project pairs contemporary architecture with a highly composed, Japanese-influenced landscape. Sculptural pines, Japanese maples, clipped evergreens, bamboo and broad sweeps of groundcover are layered around natural boulders, stone pathways and water, creating a garden that feels both structured and serene.

The landscape unfolds through a series of connected outdoor spaces, from quiet garden passages and reflecting water to covered entertaining and wellness areas. IPE decking, a custom outdoor kitchen, fire feature, spa, cold plunge and sauna are integrated within the landscape, while carefully placed lighting highlights specimen trees, stone and planting after dark.
