After a long day of hustling and bustling, one of the ways to relax your mind would be to pick up a book or two, sit down with a cup of tea and enjoy the sounds of nature in your own backyard. On other days you would want to invite your friends and family over for a BBQ party to chat, laugh and have a good time.
This 2016 Georgie Awards finalist project creates exactly that, a relaxing space, but also perfect for entertainment on those special occasions.
What gives this project its unique personality is that all the materials – from the native plants, basalt walls and pathways, to the impressive burnt wood fencing and arbour structure – are sourced locally.
